What data we process and why

Scanned URL

The URL you enter is sent to the API to analyse the website. The URL is not personal data in itself. After the scan it is not stored, results exist only temporarily in your browser session.

Lead data (optional)

If you fill in your name and email address after the scan, these are stored together with the scanned URL in a secure file on my own VPS (vps.firm-ware.cz). Purpose: follow-up on your interest in a new or improved website. Legal basis: consent. Retention: up to one year, or sooner upon request.

Analytics

This website uses Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool I self-host on my own VPS. Umami uses no cookies, does not record IP addresses and collects no personally identifiable information. Page statistics are not shared with third parties.

Hosting and infrastructure

The frontend is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (US). Netlify processes IP addresses in server logs as part of normal hosting operations. Netlify complies with Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers of personal data outside the EEA.

The backend API and lead data run on my own VPS in the Netherlands (vps.firm-ware.cz), which I alone have access to.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and objection. Contact me via the contact page and I will respond within five working days.

You may also lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
